Seething with vengeance cultivated over two thousand years of captivity, Lord Caelwas breaks from his Faerie-mandated prison and enslaves a sect of humanity and inflames them onto a course of destruction. So begins Pilgrimage of the Faerie.
Through immense travail, the young but now burdened Baytel, Druid of the Citadel, only gradually becomes aware of this powerful evil now at loose. With word that his love Tira and her friend-in-battle Delphinade are imprisoned in darkness, Druid Baytel is torn between love and loyalty to the Citadel.
As cross-currents of missions verge on failure, suspicion undermines devotion, and conflicting loyalties emerge, Baytel's battle-tested Companions unite in response, realizing they must employ all their intelligence, courage, good humor, and loyalty to face forces they do not yet comprehend.
And as the land itself rumbles ominously.
What happened to the Tree Faeries?
And where is Baytel?
In Pilgrimage of the Faerie, Lewis G. Gazoul, author of Druids of the Faerie, creates a completely engaging world filled with emotions and understandings that ring strikingly true today. His engagingly distinctive characters embody both diverse and universal personalities in this novel of action and purpose.

Pilgrimage of the Faerie
Pilgrimage of the Faerie by Lewis G. Gazoul is the third book in a fantasy series. Set in an intricate world that is filled with some pretty amazing characters, this novel gave me a full experience that I am not likely to ever forget. I have not read the previous novels in the series, yet I enjoyed this one immensely. I took my time to familiarize myself with the characters, their dynamics and with the overall story line and once I did, I was so invested in the story that I did not want it to end!
This is the story of Baytel, a Druid of Citadel who is now ensuring peace for the One Land. While he is trying his best to maintain the peace of his people, his true love, Tira, is facing her own troubles. Tira and her friend Delphinade are not doing so well and they are soon captured. While the people in Baytel's life are going through their own rough trials, an evil is rising and trying to destroy the peace that he and his people have worked so hard to achieve. Baytel has no idea what that evil is and where his troubles are coming from. What will he do? Can he even save his people and those he loves?
I loved how descriptive the story was and how much I gained from those descriptions. Every single paragraph added something new to the story and gave me more information. The characterization was very strong and that, in turn, made the story stronger. I enjoyed how fluid the story was and how every single character added more to the plot. This is very a well-constructed and amazingly well-written novel! It deserves every single one of these 5 stars.
